Live Training: Healing the Classroom: Trauma-Informed Practices & Self-Care for Early Learning- 5/1/25
Young children bring their whole selves into the classroom, including past experiences with stress and trauma, so we need to create an environment that helps them feel safe and ready to learn. This training will explore the impact of trauma on young children, including ACES, the body's stress response, and the power of resilience. You’ll learn how to create a classroom that fosters emotional security, strong relationships, and self-regulation. And because teachers can’t pour from an empty cup, we’ll discuss simple yet powerful self-care practices to help you manage stress and stay energized, so you can support children while also caring for yourself.
